Kanada Moccasin

Foot Lining: Fleece
Materials: Suede, Rabbit Fur
Sole: Suede

A 'moccasin' is an Aboriginal word for 'shoe or slipper'. Our ancestors originally designed these fur-trimmed, hide moccasins to wear indoors through harsh Canadian winters. The Kanada Moccasin has all of the iconic moccasin features- fur ankle cuff, beaded vamp and suede outer - which has been passed down to us from generation to generation. Now as a contemporary Métis company, we continue the tradition by combining modern techniques and materials to make cozy additions to your everyday life around the house or at the cottage!

The Kanada Moccasin is also part of a special collection that features artist-designed beadwork. Rosa Scribe (Cree, Norway House) designed the distinctive 'snowflake' pattern for the vamp and receives a portion of every sale.
