These bowls are an attempt to combine the interests of our customers – the natural world with a modern style. And so the black bowls were born. The oak is ebonized through a food-safe vinegar and iron based process, leaving it strikingly dark with a hint of the natural oak grain. These have all the qualities admired in our traditional bowls, but bring something new to the table.
